After some efficient work conceptualising, sawing, chiseling, shaping, polishing and finishing the two one tonne capstones that will sit atop the pier stones flanking the iron gates at the end of our 108 metre sandstone wall, Gary’s expertise as a stonemason, skills and vision are nearing fulfillment.

Below are pictures of the sandstone wall my apprentice, Alex Brennan, and I built on the harbour at Seaforth, a tricky job at the top of large sandstone bedrocks, but tricky is fun.
